Goose Island Beer Co. is a Chicago mainstay. And big Chicago Bears fans. But when Bears kicker Cody Parkey missed an “easy” 43-yard field goal, knocking the Bears out of the playoffs—and everyone wanted to murder him—Goose boldly challenging Chicago: Think you can make a 43-yarder? Prove it.
It went...poorly. But we at CPB took on the #FieldGoalChallenge and crushed it. The whole thing got coverage from ESPN SportsCenter, USA Today and more. Best of all, Goose donated $20k to Parkey’s fave charity: the Lurie Children’s Hospital. (And some guy named Jimmy Fallon talked about it…see last video)
