Mark St. Amant, he wrote in the third person, is a CD/Writer and Author based in Boulder, CO. Starting in 1991 at Arnold in Boston, his work has been honored by Cannes, Clios, One Show, Kelly Awards, Effies, Communication Arts, National ADDYs & more.
As obsessive a sports fan as branding geek — see "Sports Nerd" & “Columns/Articles” sections — he's also written two top-selling memoirs published by Simon & Schuster: Committed: Confessions of a Fantasy Football Junkie and Just Kick It: Tales of an Underdog, Over-Age, Out-of-Place, Semi-Pro Football Player, which Booklist hailed as "One of the best sports books of the year" in 2006 in a coveted starred review. (And, upon learning Mark quit a six-figure advertising job to try to win his $500 fantasy football league, famed author Chuck Klosterman called Mark “The smartest man who ever lived”…perhaps facetiously.)
Over the years, Mark has also contributed to the New York Times, New York Times.com "Fifth Down" NFL blog, NBC Sports’ Rotoworld.com, and others. And he's appeared on national TV /radio shows like FOX & Friends, NPR's "Only a Game with Bill Littlefield," ESPN Classic to Sirius XM Radio, FOX Sports Radio and more.
After spending most of his career in Boston—with stints in Atlanta, Connecticut and Florence, Italy—Mark moved to Boulder in 2009 to join Crispin Porter + Bogusky. In 2012, he co-founded Boulder boutique agency, Grenadier (now Barkley Boulder). And after four years in start-up land, in 2016 he boomeranged back to CP+B to help run and lead INFINITI USA and Global.
He lives in Boulder with his wife and two children they co-produced (below). Aren't they adorable? If you don't hire/pay Mark, they go hungry.
